The
Blue Mountains - a different perspective
While not necessarily designed as a National
Park tour of the Blue Mountains, this Detour
is designed to admire the Blue Mountains
and surrounds predominantly by viewing the
western escarpments from areas such as the
Bells Line of Road, The Darling Causeway,
Hartley Vale, Hartley, Cox River Road and
the Jenolan Caves Road.
This tour can be tailored to your personal
preferences and can encompass local village
cemeteries, local historic architecture
and other points of interest in the area.
The tour is designed as a comfortable day
trip with an educational base with a high
emphasis on historical points of interest
that may be missed by tourists on a self
drive tour.
We will visit some great lookouts and enjoy
some very scenic views along the way. You
can have a lunch on tour or we can tailor
your trip to stop at a pub, cafe or restaurant,
for an extended break. The choices for this
Detour are many; and the choices are all
yours.
